Balancing practice, advice, and deadlines

    Xià zhōu yǒu bǐsài, jiàoliàn ràng wǒmen tíqián shí fēnzhōng dào chǎngdì.

    There’s a match next week; the coach wants us ten minutes early.

    Kěshì wǒ xià zhōu hái yǒu liǎng chǎng kǎoshì, shíjiān yǒudiǎnr jǐn.

    But I also have two exams next week — time’s tight.

    Kěyǐ. Lìngwài, quēxí yào tíqián qǐngjià, bùrán yǐngxiǎng zhěng duì.

    Yes. Also, absences need advance leave, or the whole team suffers.
