Big-city Chinese metros teach the same loop every day: find your 线 (line), ride to a 换乘站 (transfer station), then follow 出口 A/B/C up to the street. Fares are distance-based and still tiny by global standards — often ¥2–¥7 for a normal city hop, paid by transit card or phone scan.
